I just saw Julie and Julia, and in four words: so amazing and so delicious.

This film allows you to dive into the lives of two great women, rather than get only a peek. If you cook or write, this movie will make you feel like you can do anything. And if you don't, well, you'll want to start. Everything they both make will make your stomach growel, even if it's full of popcorn.

The stories are interesting (that they're true makes it even better) and the fact that Amy Adams and Meryl Streep are both totally absorbed in the characters make it extraordinary. The acting goes beyond immitation and both actresses become their characters. Never for a minute did I think I was watching Meryl Streep ... she's the real thing! :)

And Meryl Streep is brilliantly hilarious! The voice especially was completely hysterical, but everything about her just radiated funny. The little old ladies behind me didn't stop laughing for a minute.

The combination of Julie and Julia's stories and how they paralelled together keeps your attention and will keeo you wrapped up in the story.

This movie will make you laugh, smile, feel inspired, and fill you up. But be prepared to crave some French cooking :)

I feel so ditzy ... I forgot I had an lj!
Well, I'm doing good! :D I go back to school on WEDNESDAY! (huzzah! I can't wait :D)
I'm meeting up some friends to hang out one last time before school (:( Imma miss those fools)
... Yeah, my life is ver non-interesting. Hopefully, high school is more exciting than well, NOW.
I did watch the Degrassi movie last night! :D I liked it! It was predictable, and a little corny, but it was still really great to see! The music was pretty good and at one part they played for the night's I can't remember ... it was perfect for the scene! What else ... it was very funny! The movie Manny and Paige wanted to be in was called Musical High. It was a great rip off. :D

Oh my gawd, I'm the n00b in this role play, and it's really showing. The guy who introduced me to it is trying to be nice, but I am so lost, and I went so red! I know they're trying to let me in but it's kind of hard. I hate being new! It's so humiliating to me. I don't know these people, and yet I am so totally  embarrassed by all my goofy mistakes.

RIP John Hughes. In honor of the master of the teen movie, what is your favorite teen flick?
Man, when I heard this news last night, I was almost in tears. John Hughes made some of my favorite movies and he was so young, only 59!

My favorite is The Breakfast Club, but Pretty in Pink and Ferris Bueller's Day Off  are also some of my faves.

RIP John!

Okay, so I'll never be a reporter. my recount of heritage days is like this:
drank coffee
drank diet coke
ate an irish cookie
ate some rice
watched some radically fantastic indian and african dancers
wished I was african/indian/other cultures
went through every picture on my phone and camera
talked to kevin.

So, like, what I do everyday basically =P

OMJ What if Jimmy Kimmel is on? zOMJ!!!!

Post two truths and a lie about yourself as an answer to Writer's Block. Have people guess which is the lie in the comments.
1. I'm a published and paid writer
2. I am A huge Ginny/Harry shipper
3. I want to stay single for forever

So yeah, very long time gone. Very vry long time gone. I'm back, though! And I will have something more interesting to tell you on Monday morning, because I am going to Heritage Festival with Kevin tonight, which should be uber fun.

31 days till school! damn straight I'm counting!

Hmm. So eah, not much else happening (SORRY!) but really, I am working on being more interesting.

OH RIGHT! So, I had an epiphany yesterday, and I've decided that after I finish college, I will move to NYC and not San Francisco. So that's all, bye! =D

Which modern invention do you think the world would be better off without?
Oh my goodness. Could I destroy every blackberry in existence? They just totally eat up real socialization. I've seen people on TV who are at awards shows or doing a talk show and are ON THEIR FREAKIN BLACKBERRIES. Seriously, it is not a vital organ, it's a glorified cell phone. People did perfectly well before they existed. You don't need to check your email every five minutes. Seriously, what will be there? Maybe: CASSI MAY LIKES YOUR STATUS and JACKY WONG SENT YOU A FRIEND REQUEST. Bite me.
